ICFF is North America’s leading platform for contemporary furnishing design.

With its emphasis on original and sustainable design, ICFF presents a broad range furnishing product for residential, contract and hospitality environments to an audience of 10,000 architects, interior designers, retailers, distributors, developers, and press. ICFF and the co-located Wanted bring together over 450 established and emerging design brands from more than 35 countries.

On the show floor, attendees will also have opportunities to find inspiration through ICFF Talks, a focused lineup of panel sessions, keynote presentations, and intimate conversations led by the most iconic names in the industry. Furthermore, opportunities to widen professional networks are boundless. From organic meetings on the show floor to evening events, attendees and exhibitors join together to exchange business strategies while strengthening relationships in the design community.

CNY Architecture & Design Scavenger Hunt

Join AIA Central New York and IIDA Syracuse City Center as we embark on another Architecture & Design Scavenger Hunt! It will be an evening of fun and adventure as we explore Tipperary Hill’s architectural treasures and hidden gems!

Register with a team (up to six participants) Each team will have a limited amount of time to explore the city looking for predetermined locations, “items” and accomplish exciting tasks along the way. New this year we will be using a Scavenger Hunt App to track your progress! Get the most points available to win! The top three teams will receive cash prizes.

Participants will meet at Recess Coffee Tipperary Hill to check-in and divide into teams. The Hunt will be limited in time. After the hunt, participants will meet back Recess Coffee Tipperary Hill for an after-party including food, and the presentation of cash prizes to the winning team!

Event Registration Begins: 5PM

Scavenger Hunt: 5:30PM - 7PM

After-Party Begins: 7PM

Team Prizes: 1st Place - $600, 2nd Place - $300, 3rd Place: $100

The Eastern Farmworkers Association Volunteering Event

During this event, volunteers will work together and use design skills to make The Eastern Farmworkers Association’s office space efficient, aiding towards optimal operation of the organization by reorganizing each room. Light the Yard plans to follow this event with a Needs and Notes, providing EFWA with toiletries, food, and other donations to be distributed to their members. 


Here is a breakdown of the day: 

10:00 am - Intro to EFWA and dividing into teams by room  

10:30-12:30 - Cleanup and reorganization by room, led by a team leader  

12:30-2:00 - Continue reorganization and clean up after!

HUMP DAY CEU

The IIDA New York Upstate City Centers have partnered to provide designers the chance to receive all your CEUs required for the year. On the second Wednesday of each month, we will provide a virtual CEU to log on to while at work and eating lunch.


Get a handle on recommendations and considerations for assessing a coated fabric’s suitability in challenging healthcare settings. This CEU, based on ACT’s selection and testing guides for healthcare, digs deep into four key areas: Durability and Performance; Cleaning, Sanitizing, and Disinfection, Furniture Design and Manufacturing, and Material Ingredients / Chemical Transparency.

The 2024 Spring LEED Study Group will be hosted in person with an option to watch virtually for participants outside of NYC. Our spring study group will be a total of six sessions with the first 40 minutes covering the LEED GA fundamentals and second 40 minutes focusing on LEED AP exam details. Sessions will be on Thursday evenings starting at 5pm.

EDI seniors complete a community service project every year, 2024’s project being the Southside Communications Center. Victoria’s Closet is a space in the center, a free thrift store offering clothing donations to the southside community. IIDA Syracuse hopes to further support the Community Service Project and the Southside Communication Center impacts through this donation drive.
